Our Partners
Collaborations have been a critical part of NeuImmune’s growth strategy and will continue to be an emphasis for our future. The company is actively exploring alliances that complement our expertise in biologics product development with important scientific, clinical, and business capabilities. These alliances may incorporate our various technology platforms and product candidates.
We have had a long-standing support from the NIH to catalyze our research and advance our programs into clinical development. Specifically, we have received numerous grants from the NIH to advance our pipeline programs with the hope that our research ultimately will lead to new treatments and/or cures for rare disease.
With a goal to improve people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet, the Novo Nordisk Foundation has contributed over $50M towards the program that developed the geCHO cell line platform. This core technology has been licensed by NeuImmune.
As part of the inaugural Technology Partner program, we have partnered with Ginkgo Bioworks to integrate the technological capabilities of NeuImmune to provide customers with more robust end-to-end solutions to drive successful R&D outcomes across biological end markets. Working in conjunction with Ginkgo, and its world-class robotic and synthetic biology platforms, the combined team capabilities allow for the rapid development and manufacturing of diverse glycoforms of any desired biotherapeutic protein, which is important because even small changes in glycosylation can have drastic effects on the efficacy and safety of a drug.
NeuImmune works closely with Kemp Proteins in Frederick, MD, for high throughput screening of the geCHO cell lines, purification of proteins for investigating structure-function relationships, and initial cell line development, analytical characterization, and process optimization requirements to facilitate a seamless transition to GMP facilities.
